My mission is so simple: to provide accessible and non-biased support for all people navigating journeys of lactation and infant feeding.
I am a Toronto-based International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Certified Lactation Counselor (CBI), completed the Mohawk College Breastfeeding Program, and I am a DONA trained postpartum doula. My doula training directly informs my feeding support style, allowing me to be present and engaged, never rushed, and always there for you.
I know there are many situations when you might need lactation and feeding support.
From pregnancy to weaning, inducing lactation to formula feeding, latching difficulties to supply concerns, I have supported hundreds of families and individuals through these new life experiences.
In Toronto I provide in-home consults, or virtually Canada-wide.
I have no agenda in support other than to help each client understand their own goals and work together to achieve them. The feeding journey looks different for everyone, and there is not one right way to do it. I am also proud to offer infant feeding support at rates that work for you. I have no agenda in support other than to help each client understand their own goals and work together to achieve them. The feeding journey looks different for everyone, and there is not one right way to do it. I am also proud to offer infant feeding support at rates that work for you. I believe this work is essential and cost should never be a barrier; contact below to request information on sliding scale pricing.
Everyone is welcome. I use inclusive language, and I'll adjust my terminology based on your own comfort levels. Everyone has a right to quality and respectful care.
You deserve care that is not rushed or hurried. Problem-solving and planning take patience and babies don't usually perform on command. Reasonable text/email support following the consult is included with your service.
I provide comfort and confident boosts for parents, and babies routinely are more settled while eating after working with me. I have been so privileged to be invited back into the homes of past clients to support their second or third babies. There is no greater honour than that.
My work is trauma-informed, inclusive, up-to-date, warm, and professional.
When cost is a barrier, I am able to offer sliding scale options for feeding support. On request, clients are free to choose the payment level that feels best for them, and I will never ask you to justify your choice. All cost levels receive the same quality of care.
